Made for industrial desktop software

One set, two languages

Use the same .slint components from Rust and C++ SDKs.

ForgePlot charts

Lines, scatter, bars, color maps, polar, multiple axes and export.

ForgeFlow node editor

Nodes and edges for flowcharts and topology diagrams.

Grids and charts

DataGrid, TreeDataGrid and industrial data views.

Navigation & layouts

Navigation, split, flow, adaptive grid and dock layouts.

Desktop essentials

Windows, icons, screenshots, QR codes, syntax highlighting and a bilingual Gallery.

Workflow

How SlintForge fits your workflow

01

Choose components

Combine navigation, grids, charts and node editing.

02

Integrate

Use the same Slint components from Rust or C++ apps.

03

Polish the experience

Apply themes, layouts and interactions to desktop software.

SLINTFORGE / COMPONENTS

79 public components, composed as needed

The component reference groups minimal examples by category. Teams can inspect interactions in the Gallery, then integrate the parts their desktop app needs.

Data and charts

DataGrid, TreeDataGrid and ForgePlot cover structured data, live curves and multi-axis charts.

Flow and topology

ForgeFlow provides nodes, ports, edges, properties and a minimap for editable graphical workspaces.

Navigation and layout

Navigation, split, flow, adaptive grid, dock and staggered layouts support complex desktop tools.

Desktop essentials

Windows, icons, QR codes, highlighting, capture, feedback and themes cover common needs.

RUST + C++

One .slint UI, two language integrations

Public UI components are implemented once. Rust and C++ projects configure their own builds and host services before creating the first window.

01 / Rust

Build script and runtime

Configure style and resource paths with slintforge_build; bind chart, grid or flow services when needed.

02 / C++

CMake package and host services

Compile .slint files with the supplied CMake package and slintforge_target_sources(), then configure rendering before display.

About licensing

SlintForge is planned for a GPL-3.0-only release and depends on Slint. Review both projects’ actual license terms before use.
